چکیده

Abstract This study aimed to investigate the effect of dietary n-3 fatty acid and ginger ( Zingiber officinale ) supplementation on semen quality, sperm acids, reproductive performance roosters. Seventy-two roosters (30 weeks old) were randomly allocated into 4 treatments including 1) basal diet as control group (F0G0), 2) supplemented with 20 g/kg fish oil (F2G0), 3) 30 powder (F0G3), 4) (F2G3) for 10 consecutive weeks. The levels linolenic, EPA, DHA higher in oil-fed (P<0.05). A lower percentage linoleic arachidonic acids recorded F2G0 F2G3 groups At 38 age, a volume was found F0G3 than F0G0 groups. From week 34 end experiment, viability, abnormality, motility significantly improved GP-fed (F0G3 groups) Significantly lowest concentration overall experiment observed Higher testosterone malondialdehyde (MDA) content comparison Also, fertility rate collected eggs from compared In conclusion, although use roosters’ diets alone had negative some parameters related performance, or along quality potential.

Sperm quality parameters and fatty acid composition in Farahani rams fed pistachio by-products

Fifteen fertile rams (live weight 55.9 ± 1.21 kg, and 2.5-3 years old) were randomly allotted to three diets consisting of 0 (Control), 12.5 (PBP-12.5), and 25 % (PBP-25.5) pistachio by-products (PBP) in dry matter. Sperm motility parameters were detrimentally affected in animals feeding on PBP-25% diet (P<0.05). Sperm concentration of C17-1, C22-6-n-3, C18-2-Cis and C22-6 n-3 fatty acids decre...

Reproductive long-term effects, endocrine response and fatty acid profile of rabbit does fed diets supplemented with n-3 fatty acids.

The effect of a diet enriched with polyunsaturated n-3 fatty acids (PUFA) on endocrine, reproductive, and productive responses of rabbit females and the litters has been studied. Nulliparous does (n=125) were fed ad libitum from rearing to second weaning two diets supplemented with different fat sources: 7.5g/kg lard for the control diet (group C; n=63) or 15g/kg of a commercial supplement cont...
